Aid for Underprivileged Students is a National Program that aims to help underprivileged students gain access to decent education services. SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam is a school that distributes assistance to underprivileged students to help students get a proper education so far the school is still using the manual method so that the process of receiving assistance to underprivileged students is not effective. This is because the school takes a long time to be able to determine which students are entitled to receive assistance for the underprivileged. One application of information technology is a decision support system. Decision support system is a system that is able to provide problem solving skills and communication skills for problems with semi-structured and unstructured conditions. Many algorithms are used in building a decision support system, one of which is the Multi Attribute Utility Theory. Based on the calculation of the method used, which is the best alternative, namely alternative A11 on behalf of Sari Mutiara Sitanggang with a final value = 0.54.

Online novels in order to improve the quality of the novel application. A founder of an online novel application will try to advance the company that has been built, one of which is improving the quality, as well as the script so that the company can be more advanced in the future. The selection of novel scripts will greatly affect the performance of the online novel company's operational system. For that we need a decision support system for selecting novel manuscripts that are worthy of publication in the online novel application so that it can minimize manuscript errors, or maybe script plagiarism that often occurs, SMARTER is a method that can facilitate decision making, so with this method it is expected to choose the right novel script in accordance with the criteria that have been determined by the company. Although security in the form of a database is very necessary, because information hackers can retrieve data in databases that do not have security. Thieves can infiltrate the MySQL database to damage or steal the information contained therein. Therefore, it is necessary to implement security in the MySQL database by changing the text content of the MySQL database into a secret message. To overcome various data security problems, researchers use the Beaufort cipher method for MySQL database security while covering the shortcomings of the Vernam cipher method. With security using Vernam cipher and Beaufort cipher, MySQL database has good security.

To be able to secure maximum data, we need a method in cryptographic techniques with a combination of steganography techniques. The cryptographic algorithm that can be used to secure data is one time pad (OTP). This algorithm works by combining each plaintext character with a key character (in this case the length of the key and plaintext must be the same) so as to produce an incomprehensible form (ciphertext). One of the steganographic methods that can be used is redundant pattern encoding (RPE). This method works by inserting the data to be hidden into the image, then extracting it to view the data again. The results of the research conducted by the author, by applying cryptographic techniques and combining them with steganography techniques, obtained a data security system that can secure data optimally.
