Abstract

Milk & Madu Group operates a network infrastructure distributed across 12 branches with approximately 63 network devices. Manual bandwidth management and monitoring make the identification of network problems and configuration processes relatively time-consuming, particularly when traffic increases simultaneously across multiple branches. This study aims to implement a Zabbix-based network monitoring system integrated with network automation using Python to support automated bandwidth management on MikroTik devices. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with a Prototype model. The system was developed by integrating Zabbix Server, a Flask backend, Telegram Bot, SQLite database, and the Paramiko library through SSH connections. The automation mechanism utilizes Zabbix triggers and webhooks to detect network conditions and forward the information to the backend for processing before bandwidth configuration is executed on MikroTik devices with administrator approval through Telegram Bot. Functional testing results indicate that all system features operate as required and all components are well integrated. User Acceptance Test (UAT) achieved a user acceptance rate of 96%. Performance testing showed configuration time efficiency of 54.59% in the problem workflow and 76.56% in the recovery workflow, with success rates of 96.67% and 98.33%, respectively. The results demonstrate that integrating network monitoring and network automation can improve the efficiency and reliability of multi-branch network management while enabling administrators to perform configurations more quickly and in a controlled manner
